The dark side has taken over

On Saturday we were invited to come to a party of an acquaintance of our floorball team mate. We were dressed up as Mr. Dracula and Pocahontas. First we went to Kevin's place for a couple of drinks and there we met some of Kevin's and Eileen's friends. Everyone was wearing a costume: red riding hood, nerds, lumberjack, Mr. Doughnut.. everyone had made an effort.
The party was in the basement of a pub. We had a fun time and ate a lot of Halloween cake :)

Mini burgers and French fries

Yesterday it was Trick or Treat and we have never seen our street so busy. People were sitting on their porch and handing out candy. One house had a disco party. They had hung a white sheet and when the kids were dancing behind the sheet it looked like skeletons were dancing.. very funny. Another house made fart noises. Most of the kids were too scary to ring the doorbell.. but we had a good laugh.
Unfortunately our camera doesn't make clear pictures in the dark, so we don't have any pictures of yesterday.

Now Halloween is over and the next holiday is Christmas.. Shops are already filling up with Christmas decorations and chocolates. I think it's still a bit too early. We keep enjoying the lovely fall in Toronto.
